In fact, you can save a lot of money. Aside from the fact that checking tire pressure by hand is tedious and messy, it&#039;s also not safe enough. That&#039;s why the EU is mandating electronic tire pressure monitoring for all new vehicles starting in fall 2014. However, if you use a modern TireMoni system, you can save even more money.<\/p>\n<p>Recently, there have been increasing reports claiming that changing tires and swapping tires on motor vehicles will become more expensive due to the EU directive on electronic tire pressure monitoring (TPMS). This is not true, at least not for all systems. TireMoni (pronounced TaierMoni, &quot;tyre&quot; or &quot;tire&quot;) is an exception. For just around \u20ac160, four car wheels can be equipped. This amount is easily recouped within a year through fuel savings, increased safety, and longer tire life. From then on, the TireMoni system generates a profit every year, as the maintenance costs for new batteries amount to no more than perhaps \u20ac5-10 per year. This is so low because the TireMoni sensors can simply be transferred to the new set of tires, be they summer or winter tires, when changing tires. No readjustment is necessary. For workshops, this means they save several thousand euros on the purchase of new devices for reading and programming factory-installed tire pressure systems. Talk to your customers and install a TireMoni \u2013 perhaps just for their winter tires. Customer satisfaction will increase because your customers pay less, and with satisfied customers, the satisfaction of your workshop also increases. A well-advised and happy customer will return. What&#039;s more, the customer may even use the money saved to buy better tires or another piece of equipment. For some vehicles, the savings are so high that they even cover the monthly financing of another vehicle.<br \/>\nFor freight forwarders and fleets, this calculation looks even better.<br \/>\nAs you can see, the opportunities are equally attractive for customers and workshops.
