When I pointed out to a British colleague that not only the oil warning light but also the brake light was lit in his vehicle, he replied succinctly: &quot;Company cars can do that.&quot; Yes, company cars can do a lot, but they can&#039;t handle everything. At some point, even company cars give out, and that can become uncomfortable, especially if the tire pressure is incorrect during long, fast journeys. Retrofitting with reliable tire pressure systems is the order of the day. We&#039;re not even talking about the fact that the company car fleet saves tires and fuel, or that fleet managers can lease tires because they can prove that the correct pressure is monitored throughout their lifetime.
