Hace poco me visit\u00f3 un dise\u00f1ador de materiales especializado en las superficies lisas y reflectantes de termos de alta gama. Al ver mi termo, casi opaco, sobre la estanter\u00eda, se emocion\u00f3 hasta las l\u00e1grimas. Lo cogi\u00f3 y, con unos pocos toques de destreza, lo puli\u00f3 hasta dejarlo como nuevo. Casi con enfado, me explic\u00f3 el gran esfuerzo que se dedica al dise\u00f1o de superficies de cubiertos, jarras, cuencos y otros art\u00edculos del hogar, y lo mucho que le dol\u00eda ver mi termo tan descuidado. Me sent\u00ed culpable; nunca antes hab\u00eda considerado mi termo desde esa perspectiva, ya que solo lo hab\u00eda usado para agua caliente.
\nLo mismo ocurre con los neum\u00e1ticos. Compramos neum\u00e1ticos de buena calidad, dise\u00f1ados por ingenieros como productos de alta tecnolog\u00eda, y luego los descuidamos. Sin embargo, mantenerlos en buen estado es muy sencillo; todo comienza con la presi\u00f3n correcta. Para controlar la presi\u00f3n correcta mientras conduces, necesitas un sistema de monitoreo de presi\u00f3n de neum\u00e1ticos (TPMS).
