So funktioniert's
The diesel fuel is atomized into more and smaller droplets; where 10 droplets of fuel were previously injected, 15 smaller droplets are now injected after the installation of the Innova-Box. This increases the contact area between the fuel (diesel) and the air in the mixture. The increased contact area means that all of the injected diesel fuel is burned, and even parts that were previously expelled unused with the exhaust gas are now used for propulsion.
With the same load
(e.g., 130 km/h on the highway), the engine consumes up to 25% less diesel. In any case, the same driving style must be maintained for a before-and-after comparison. In fact, better atomization also leads to better combustion from an energy perspective. Due to the improved performance, at the same load, less fuel now needs to be injected, leading to a reduction in fuel consumption. By increasing the engine's efficiency, power and torque naturally also increase by up to 25%, and these are available to you as soon as you press the accelerator.

This applies to both the mechanical parts and the electrical and electronic components of your vehicle. Common rail engines are all designed for higher power and therefore remain within their limits even after optimizing a few parameters.
