A caravan is our home on wheels, at least for a few weeks a year. If something happens to it, the consequences are different than with a car. So we travel cautiously, carefully, and well-informed. We often know in advance where we'll be spending the night and make sure we find good spots to park. We also take care of the tires, not just the fuel and oil. Tires are very important for long trips, and it's good to be informed about tire pressure and temperature while driving. Many of us don't even have spare tires anymore; that's why we don't want to risk a flat tire. Flat tires are always annoying, so we prevent them with a TireMoni. The system warns of air loss and overheating of the tires and shows us the pressure and temperature of all tires at all times. Why automatic tire pressure monitoring?
The TireMoni TM-260 tire pressure monitoring system is ideal for motorhomes and small vans with six wheels (twin tires or double axles) and tire pressures above 4 bar. (Vehicles heavier than 3.5 tons require the booster/radio amplifier for reliable operation.) The system continuously displays all six current tire pressures and is expandable to a maximum of 10 sensors/wheels. This ensures that you are always driving with the optimal tire pressure. This saves you fuel and tires, makes an important contribution to protecting our environment, and reduces the risk of accidents caused by tire damage.
In the event of a warning (pressure loss), you'll receive a visual and audible warning via backlight and a signal generator ("beeper"). The added driving safety is also a bonus.
