TireMoni is helping to improve the situation. In addition to reducing costs, it offers longer tire mileage and fuel savings, as well as increased safety through fewer tire damages. Retrofittable tire pressure monitoring (TPMS) is becoming increasingly important. TireMoni's lightweight, modern sensors are mounted externally on the correct metal valves and can therefore be taken with you when changing tires, saving a lot of money.
The name TireMoni comes from Tire Pressure Monitoring, meaning "tire" for tire and "moni" for monitoring. Tire pressure monitoring for vehicles with pneumatic tires. It's pronounced "TaierMoni" and refers to a modern retrofit system for permanent tire pressure monitoring, even while driving. Retrofittable tire pressure monitoring like TireMoni is a good idea these days. Tire pressure monitoring systems have become and are becoming mandatory not only in the USA, the European Union, and China. Sensor technology has advanced to the point that the measuring units are now very lightweight and can be conveniently attached to the outside of the valves. This has a decisive advantage over tire pressure sensors built inside the tire. TireMoni's batteries can be replaced. The intact sensors are therefore retained and function for the life of the car, and perhaps even longer.
When installing TireMoni tire pressure monitoring systems, please note: The initial installation should be performed by a qualified professional to ensure road safety and to ensure that the sensors do not protrude beyond the rim edge. Today, rubber valves that are too long are often used for convenience; this must be corrected. Therefore, the sensors should be mounted on suitable metal valves so that the sensor sits snugly and is securely within the rim contour (German Road Traffic Regulations). If necessary, especially if you frequently drive at speeds above 100 km/h, the tires should be balanced with the sensors installed.
TireMoni detects the wheel position. The sensors are marked with the wheel position (FL=front left, FR=front right, RR=rear right, RL=rear left) and simply need to be screwed onto the correct wheel (valve). Each TireMoni recognizes its associated sensors from the factory. Calibration or assigning the sensors to the display unit is not necessary.
If a sensor needs to be replaced, replacement parts (with special coding) are available. These must be ordered for the affected wheel position and can be programmed into the TireMoni display unit. The procedure is simple, and the instructions are included with the replacement sensor. When ordering, the required wheel position and the affected TireMoni model must be specified. TireMoni replacement sensors are inexpensive, which is why more and more drivers are opting to replace their on-board tire pressure monitoring systems with TireMoni systems when they no longer function properly. The price for an entire TireMoni system is often cheaper than replacing a single permanently installed sensor. TireMoni warns of air loss, even while driving, creating valuable reaction time to avoid accidents. Maintaining the correct tire pressure at all times helps save fuel and tires.
TireMoni, the brand of tpm-systems AG, specializes in easily retrofittable tire pressure monitoring systems. The company's founders have been involved in the development of monitoring technology for automotive tires from the very beginning. With the TireMoni TM 100, tpm-systems AG achieved first place in the ADAC and ÖAMTC comparison test of directly measuring tire pressure monitoring systems at the end of 2007 and first place in the TCS in 2014. The TireMoni brand offers innovative electronic tire pressure monitoring systems for motorcycles, trikes, quads, cars, caravans, and trucks.
