Here are TireMoni installation instructions (not only) for inspection engineers.  video

Step 1: Unpack the device and sensors

Step 2: Insert the batteries into the display unit and make sure it is switched on (you can tell by the numbers appearing on the display).

Step 3: Insert the batteries into the sensors – ensure correct polarity. A diagram can be found in the included manual or online. The display unit will now beep, indicating that the sensors are already transmitting data.

Step 4: Screw the sensors onto the valves. Make sure that the valves are not too long and that the sensor does not protrude beyond the rim contour (this is required by the German Road Traffic Regulations).

For testing engineers: It's also important to ensure the valves aren't too short, otherwise the sensors can't be fully screwed onto the valve. In this case, they won't make contact with the air inside the tire and therefore won't be able to measure the tire pressure. As a result, no data will reach the display device or app.

Step 5: If the system still doesn't work, please read the manual again. (We assume you've already done this before starting up the system, but it's easy to overlook something the first time...)

Step 6: If the system still does not work as desired, simply give us a call: Our friendly service staff will be happy to provide the necessary assistance on 09099 966 4966.

For non-engineers: If an engineer tries to tell you that the system won't work in such a case, you should probably question whether that engineer is thinking straight. If this guide is too simple for you, we recommend our detailed [guide/article/etc.]. Manuals available for download as PDFs. This document also contains our information on the use of metal valves. With a TireMoni system that you can install and maintain yourself, that you can use with both winter and summer tires, and whose sensors you can easily replace yourself, you have made a good choice.
