We are only a year away from EU legislation requiring direct-measuring tire pressure monitoring systems for new vehicles. This law will come into force in 2012, and we ask ourselves: Why only for new vehicles? What's good for new cars can't be bad for loyal used cars. That's why we offer electronic tire pressure monitoring systems for retrofitting. Most tire pressure monitoring systems measure inside the tire, either on the rim or attached to the inside of the valve. The TireMoni system measures at the valve. If you don't want to use short rubber valves, you can use the more stable metal valves and screw on the TireMoni sensor instead of the valve cap.
Tire pressure and temperature can now be measured inside the vehicle. What's more, the system issues a warning if the tire pressure falls below or exceeds a certain threshold; the warning threshold can be set manually.
Not only fuel savings, driving comfort, cornering safety, optimal braking, winter suitability and extended tire life are good arguments, but also the feeling of doing something for your own safety is good.
