All clear for tire repair shops

In recent months, many repair shops that also replace tires have been driven crazy by demands to purchase expensive diagnostic equipment to read the factory-installed tire pressure monitoring systems (TPMS, RDKS). Customers were unsettled by the prospect of several hundred euros in additional costs for each tire change.

Here is the all-clear: Relief for the car workshops: http://www.kfz-betrieb.vogel.de/fahrzeugtechnik/raederundreifen/articles/414544/

"More and more vehicles are being equipped with tire pressure monitoring systems (TPMS) as standard equipment—from November 2014, this will even be mandatory for all new cars. However, used car owners can also retrofit such a useful system relatively easily. For example, the company TPM Systems offers a universally applicable retrofit TPMS under the Tiremoni brand.

Unlike standard systems, the sensor is not mounted inside the rim, but sits on the outside of the valve instead of the cap." Read more here: http://www.kfz-betrieb.vogel.de/fahrzeugtechnik/raederundreifen/articles/414544/  and order here: https://shop.TireMoni.com

TireMoni, once installed, simply switch to summer/winter tires. No additional costs, compliance with EU guidelines, and driving pleasure. Continued smooth driving, increased safety, and certainly lower fuel consumption and tire wear.
