Batteries can be replaced by yourself:
The sensors of the TPMS TireMoni electronic tire pressure monitoring system are mounted externally on the vehicle's valve stems. This has the significant advantage that the sensors can easily be switched between summer and winter tires. Short metal valve stems are important, as they increase reliability. Metal valve stems are also durable. Rubber valve stems are often simply cut off during tire mounting, and the customer is then charged for new ones. Metal valve stems last for several years without any problems. When the batteries in the TireMoni tire pressure sensors are running low, the charge level is displayed. When inserting new batteries, ensure correct polarity. The system was designed for ease of use. The display unit does not need to be switched off; in fact, it is recommended that it remain switched on at all times. The device automatically enters a sleep mode when not in use to conserve battery power.
Sleep mode:
To optimize battery capacity, the system (display unit and sensors) features intelligent energy management; the display and sensors automatically enter sleep mode if no movement is detected for more than 10 minutes. In this mode, the display switches off to conserve power. Movement (e.g., opening a door or pressing a button) immediately wakes the display unit. However, the readings are only updated while driving.
And utmost attention during the journey:
Abnormal tire pressure or temperature can occur at any time, so it's good to know your tire pressure at all times while driving. If a tire's pressure drops below the lower warning threshold, the display will beep ten times, and the corresponding tire symbol will alternate between displaying 'LoP' (Low Pressure) and the pressure value to indicate the low pressure. If the pressure continues to drop, the display will warn you every time it falls by another 0.1 bar. The warnings will stop as soon as the pressure (e.g., by topping up) rises above the set warning threshold again. Caution: If a warning occurs, first assess the situation to ensure you can stop safely; only then should you check the tire as soon as possible. With the Premium Seal, you can restore a damaged tire to roadworthy condition without destroying it. Learn more: https://shop.TireMoni.com
