Where are we going and how?
We drive to the shops, to a holiday destination, to work, to buy cigarettes—at least that's what my neighbor's neighbor says; he always drives his VW Golf the 200 meters to the vending machine. We also drive to the swimming pool, to buy flowers, to the gas station, to the car wash, just out into nature, into the night, to the countryside, through the city, in summer, winter, autumn, and spring. Some doctors claim that men take their cars for checkups more often than they take their own bodies for a checkup. We men know, of course, that this is nonsense, and secondly, that checkups are generally useless, except that what was perfectly fine before is now broken. But we do take care of our cars, and rightly so, because at 190 km/h, you want to be able to trust your vehicle. That trust grows with the amount of information we have available in the car. We like to know the oil pressure, the engine temperature, the speed; our passenger wants to know how the outside temperature compares to the interior temperature; we want to see the engine speed; and, since petrol is so expensive, we often stare at the fuel gauge.
But what about tire pressure information? We can get that if we retrofit a TireMoni.
