Premium material, tire safety

I recently had a visit from a materials designer who specializes in the smooth, reflective surfaces of high-end thermos flasks. When he saw my almost opaque thermos sitting on the shelf, he was nearly moved to tears. He picked it up and, with a few deft strokes, polished it until it looked brand new. Almost angrily, he explained how much effort goes into the surface design of cutlery, jugs, bowls, and other household items, and how it pained him to see such neglected things as my thermos. I felt guilty; I had never considered my thermos from that perspective before, having only ever used it for hot water.
It's a similar story with car tires. We buy good tires, designed by engineers as high-tech products, and then treat them carelessly. Yet, maintaining good tires is so easy; it starts with the correct tire pressure. To monitor the correct tire pressure while driving, you need a tire pressure monitoring system (TPMS). These systems are available for retrofitting and are quite affordable these days. TireMoni works reliably and warns you of pressure loss.
