Okay, I admit it, I love my motorcycle. The elegance with which we take a corner, the acceleration, the scent of the fields, the warm sun on the back of my leather jacket, the vibration of the twin-cylinder engine, and the torque from low revs. All martial thoughts, you might say. And I say: Yes, and sensitivity is essential for survival here. When I've properly inflated the front and rear tires, I feel the bike almost fly over the road. If I neglect the tire pressure for a while and the air slowly dissipates, the bike becomes harder to steer, loses its lightness in the corners, and I've often thought it was me, that I was getting old, when in reality it was just the tires that were underinflated.
That's what I also like about motorcycling: the machine and the rider's sense of self merge together. It doesn't create a prosthetic, but rather a fascinating collaboration that can remain entirely aimless.
And, the correct tire pressure is part of the fun, a big part.
That's why I've been driving with a TireMoni tire pressure monitoring system for 3 years now, so I'm always well informed and have healthy tire pressure.
